GET INVOLVED

“Sex[M]ed exists because we want to bring together healthcare practitioners to be able to access content about sexual health that is inclusive, comprehensive, useful, and trustworthy.”

Write for Us

Sex[M]ed welcomes the experiences of all people including but not limited to queer, two-spirit, trans, and non-binary folks, as well as those that identify as Black, People of Color, or Indigenous.

What We Publish

Our professional insight stream is sexual health content written by certified healthcare professionals that address clinical aspects of sexual health. If you are a healthcare practitioner and would like to write for us, please send an email to info@thesexmed.com.

Our editorial stream includes first person narratives and perspective pieces that address subjects of sexual health that are non-clinical in nature. These pieces typically entail personal experiences with, or opinions on, the topic of sexual health in the context of the healthcare system. This content does not require any clinical expertise in the subject matter. Please get in contact with us if you are interested in submitting a piece and we will let you know more about our guidelines. Submissions are currently being accepted through the this form.

All pieces are generally 700-900 words, although exceptions can be made.

We offer an optional honorarium to writers who have contributed a piece for our platform. Kindly fill out this form, and we will contact you with confirmation and next steps.
