La plateforme comprend deux volets : (a) une page professionnel pour les articles \u00e9crits par le personnel de sant\u00e9 certifi\u00e9 qui traite des aspects cliniques de la sant\u00e9 sexuelle, et (b) une page \u00e9ditoriale pour les r\u00e9cits \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re personne et les articles de perspective qui traitent des aspects non cliniques de la sant\u00e9 sexuelle. Elle vise \u00e0 lutter contre les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 qui affectent n\u00e9gativement les patients 2SLGBTQIA+ en formant le personnel de la sant\u00e9 et les stagiaires. Nous pensons qu'un aspect essentiel de l'am\u00e9lioration des r\u00e9sultats en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 des personnes 2SLGBTQIA+ commence par une \u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 inclusive, s\u00fbre et affirmative pour les personnes 2SLGBTQIA+. Cependant, le personnel de la sant\u00e9 ne re\u00e7oit souvent pas de formation ad\u00e9quate concernant les besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des patients 2SLGBTQIA+ en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9. Afin de combler ce manque de formation, nous avons mis au point un atelier destin\u00e9 au personnel en pratique m\u00e9dicale, en stage ou aux \u00e9tudes en sant\u00e9 du Canada. As an organization, we believe that it is important to be cognizant that some healthcare professionals will be writing pieces about providing care to communities that they do not themselves identify with. Advocacy Our advocacy team develops various projects, campaigns, and content that seeks to advocate and educate on the sexual health inequities experienced by marginalized communities, including 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, sex workers, and people who can get pregnant. We aim to engage healthcare providers and students in creating change in their communities related to sexual health topics. Our team also supports the Sex[M]ed organization with the development of a more anti-oppression perspective, and through consultations with other teams to evaluate content and future organizational-wide decisions.
